Gracious and Loving God,
May this week start in You. As my mind races ahead to consider all that must be done this week, slow my thoughts for a moment and fill my mind, so that You are all I consider. Quiet my busy heart for an instant so I may wonder at all you have done and all that awaits. Lord Jesus, You are more than I can comprehend. Your beauty is greater than the sky, your love is deeper than the ocean. Grant me a glimpse, just a moment of your peace, for I cannot take in more than that. May I start this week aware of your love, abiding in your presence, going forward as your beloved child, confidant in the truth that no matter how often I may turn my back on you, you never abandon me. Thanks be to you, O Lord.
