Holy God,
On this blessed day, you have created anew. The sun has broken forth into our darkness and illuminated the day. The day is filled with possibility; may my day be filled with you. May each crack, every tiny, shadowed crevice be filled with songs of praise to you. As the birds sing, so may my words sing to you. As strongly as you love this earth, may I seek to return a portion of that love to you, through my words and actions, thoughts and deeds. May each part of my broken, sinful life be bathed in your beauty, in your grace, and may it shine with the light of your love, of your son, Jesus Christ.
