Holy God,
In moments of wonder I come before you bathed in humility, so very aware of my own sinfulness and your wondrous, gracious nature. I am in awe that you sent Christ to save, that your mercy and love are big enough for me, that you have promised nothing shall separate us.
I am sure that what happens in the depths of space is amazing, as comets race and stars are born, but I find it far more fascinating to wonder at the human heart and how you teach it to love, at the mind and how you teach us to think, at my life and how you lead it by the Holy Spirit. May the hope of new life spring eternal within me.
