Monday Morning

Holy God,
We begin anew. You are the Creator, the sustainer of every new day. Your humble creation bears your fingerprints; we see the imprint of your hands upon this earth just as surely as we feel the Spirit surround us with such a great cloud of witnesses. We do not stand alone on this new day, but rather go forth with boldness as creations who follow the example of those saints who went before us, who surround us, who point the way to Christ. We long to follow you, and pray that this day we will choose you before all else, worship you more than anything else, love you and honor you before ourselves, glorify you like we have nothing else to do. May we honor you on this new day.
Amen
