Holy God of Abraham and Isaac,
Rivers learn their course from the land. They go forth from their source, and as they flow they carve their course into the land, guided by rocks and mountains, always seeking the lowest elevation, driving towards the sea.
May my life be lived the same way. May I always remember that you are my source, my Creator. May this life be lived as praise to you. As I go forth, may I pay attention to the land, not ignoring the features or avoiding challenges but always taking them on, carving out my way, always seeking faithfulness, driving towards your glory, your honor and your praise.
