Gracious Lord,
You are grace and peace. You are Lord and King. You reign supreme in heaven and on earth. You are above all and in all. You are the source and reason for our joy. May we celebrate you in our lives. May all we do point to you, and as we spread the word of your amazing joy may we do so filled with grace and peace. May you give us the strength to set aside our quarreling, lay down our anger, push aside our differences, and agree on your grace and peace, starting from that point and going out into the world to share your love. You spent your time with strangers and sinners; we spend our time with friends and those we hold in high esteem. Send us out into your world to love, to share, to proclaim the good news of your coming kingdom, and of the salvation that has already come to me, a sinner, a man of unclean lips made new, washed in the blood of the lamb.
