Alpha and Omega--
You have created another day, filled with opportunities, filled with life, and for that I give you thanks. The world spins on through your universe, though we may be sinful and broken, and you sustain life. You offer forgiveness and send your Holy Spirit to direct our feet, our hearts, our minds, that we may be restored as your people, that we might live together in peace and in love. You have shown us what true, abundant life is in Jesus Christ, and yet we have turned from it, preferring to worship our own feeble idols, preferring what is easy and entertaining rather than what is right and True.
Forgive us, Lord, and let your light shine, that we may seek beauty and love. May we follow the path of Christ, living as he lived, serving as he served, worshiping you in all we do. We are your people, the work of your hands, and I pray that this life shows the signature of its creator.
