Thursday

Lord,
You are amazing. From the first word spoken to create the world to the last moment before creation is finally redeemed, you are Lord. Over every moment, you are there. How do you watch over all of creation? How do you know the hairs on my head, Lord? Surely there are too many for you to watch? But you, O Lord, are wisdom and knowledge beyond understanding. You are power and mercy, love and wonder, and you know each part of this world. You hear the cries of the hungry child as well as the screams of joy from the old man. Your Spirit prays when we are down-trodden and it consoles us when we weep. You, O Lord, are more magnificent than we can imagine. Inspire me today, O Lord, so that I may sing your praises.
Amen.
