Wednesday

Rock of Ages,
Lead me on. With every step on the path of life, I wonder where I am heading. I have such anxiety about my future that my vision often becomes clouded by my own desires rather than yours. Teach me your ways, O Lord. Teach me to be kind and gentle, humble and obedient. I read the letters of Paul and am washed over by his humility and single-mindedness. Teach me to set aside my own ways to follow you, O Lord. You are everything to me. Without you I am nothing; instruct me, O Lord. Make my feed obedient to your service, and bend my will to listen to you. I love you, O Lord. Teach me to make that love a reality with every step.
