OK, I don't really know anything about Tiktok, but I know how people love to publicize what is going on in their lives, and people make life choices based on what they see on social media. So here we have a Psalm where God is publicly delivering the Psalmist out of the pit of destruction, and because of what others have seen God do, they put their trust in God.
So there are two things here for us. The first is to ensure we tell our stories, and that we attribute all glory to God. The second is that when we tell our stories, we shouldn't omit the parts where we are in the pit. Let's not gloss over the bad news to get to the good news, but rather we can share and be vulnerable about the pits we are in, so that others in similar pits may recognize them and know that there is hope in those pits of destruction.
