If we received from God what we deserved, we'd get nothing.
It would be gracious enough for God, the God who made us and who we often largely ignore, just decided not to punish us.
Any reward is more than we could hope for.
And yet God, who is so generous, decides to multiply God's wondrous deeds and thoughts towards us. God not only gives freely, but also thinks graciously towards us. It is complete grace, undeserved and yet a bounty poured upon our heads!
It should drive us to gratitude, to wonder, to love and praise, that we may tell of this wondrous God who gives so freely and multiples the gifts that are given!
